pulled over on deerfoot at beddington trail

Cop: "turn the bike off you're going to be here a while"
Me: "What'd I do"
Cop: "I've been following you since the calf rope bridge"
Me: "You should have turned your lights on sooner, I'd have saved you some time"
Cop: "I couldn't catch up to you"
Me: "oh"

Ended up with Speeding 59 km/h over
Careless Driving
Signals not visible from 250 meters
No red side reflector
No red rear reflector.

got it bumped down to
speeding 39 km/h over
Following to close
Signals not visible from 250m

On the officers notes on the careless driving ticket he stated that I was changing lanes without signaling and speeding, my argument was that I was already ticketed for speeding and for my signals not being visible, he couldn't ticket me twice for both, hence the reduction.

Greatest moment of the ticketing experience was the cop coming up and saying "I had to give you a pink ticket since I estimate you were going 160 km/h" and me just keeping my helmet on to avoid grinning like an idiot since I was going a little faster than that :P
